As many of us stress and worry over the frightening turns this administration is taking, it may be hard to find somewhere to productively channel our rage and concern. Below is an easy avenue of resistance readily available for us to respond as a community and champion our Jewish values.
As we did last year in an incredibly successful TBZ-led campaign, we are again staging counter-protests at Planned Parenthood Boston while they are being targeted by a powerful anti-abortion group. Our effort began last week with a first group who expressed feeling uplifted, grateful and energized! We can stand up – literally – for womens’ healthcare, abortion rights, and bodily autonomy!
It’s simple to participate: just sign up (using the link sent in Happenings) on any day that works for you, and show up at 1 o’clock at 1055 Commonwealth Ave. A leader will meet you there with colorful, bilingual signs and guidance. Thank you for considering!
