TBZ is in the heart of Brookline, MA. We are an easy walk from Coolidge Corner and Washington Square, plus the T practically stops at our front steps. Parking is on-street only, with metered and non-metered spaces in the area, as well as handicapped spots directly in front. During the High Holy Days, it is not necessary to feed the meters as we provide an “attending services” placard to place in your car which is respected by local authorities.
Our entrances are on the street level or up the majestic staircase that leads directly to our sanctuary lobby. At times we may ask you to enter only on the ground level and exit down the stairs. There is a lift between each floor of the building so it is entirely accessible. We are in the process of making our sukkah entrance accessible, as well.
Friendly ushers will greet you at the entrance to the sanctuary to help you find your way and your page in the siddur! We have tallitot and kippot available for your use, should you choose to use them. We ask that snacks be consumed outside of the sanctuary – except for the yummy candies we shower on simcha celebrants! You will find non-gendered, single bathrooms on two levels, and our first floor has men’s and women’s rooms. Most bathrooms have baby-changing tables.
